Heidi Reeder, program lead for Boise State’s leadership certificates, recently gave a keynote address at Go Lead Idaho‘s Galentine’s Gala. In the talk, “Female Friendships: The Leadership Training You Didn’t Know You Were Getting,” Reeder argues that through friendships women organically develop critical leadership skills like adaptability and relational intelligence, making friendships an overlooked but powerful form of leadership training.
