Dr. Alexandra Artiles joined Boise State University in 2024 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science. She received her Ph.D. (2024), M.S. (2019), and B.A. (2018) in Political Science from Florida State University. During the 2022-23 academic year, she was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Ottawa. Dr. Artiles's research focuses on public policy, state and local politics, and gender and politics. She teaches several courses in the subfields of public policy and American politics.
