    About

    Astri J. Snodgrass started at Boise State University in 2018 and is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Art. She received her M.F.A. in Studio Art from the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa in 2015. The work of Ms. Snodgrass encompasses elements of collage, painting, drawing, printmaking, and photography, and has a necessary and inherent relationship between image and object. It is influenced equally by a personal lineage of handcrafted Scandinavian textiles in her family and an art historical lineage within the discipline of painting.  Ms. Snodgrass is also a member of the College Art Association in New York and the Southeastern College Art Conference.
