Brian M. Wiley is an Assistant Professor for Boise State’s Department of Art. He earned his M.F.A. in Visual Studies and Graphic Design from the Minneapolis College of Art & Design, and a B.S. in Multimedia Design from the University of Oregon. Since 2013 Mr. Wiley has done a number of presentations concentrating on the impact of design on community. While working as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Mr. Wiley involved his students with a successful rebranding project for the Prosperity Gardens organization. His professional experience includes being an Associate Designer for the University of Oregon’s Marketing Department, a designer for American Apparel’s Graphics Department, and a freelance designer for Spitball Media located in Portland, Oregon.
