About
Dr. Cassidy Taladay-Carter is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication at Boise State University. She holds a Ph.D and M.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and a Bachelor's of Journalism in Advertising and Public Relations and Communication Studies from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Dr. Taladay-Carter's research focuses on ways in which individuals, families, and communities communicate to make sense of the death and non-death grief experienced across the lifespan. She studies and teaches how interpersonal, family, and health communication, including narratives and storytelling, impact health and well-being.
