Dr. Charles R. Hunt joined Boise State University in 2019 and is currently an assistant professor with the Department of Political Science. He received a Ph.D. and M.A. in Government & Politics both from the University of Maryland, College Park and a B.A. in Politics Science from Brown University. Dr. Hunt’s professional experience includes serving as the Director of Public Affairs for a political consulting company in Providence, Rhode Island for three years, helping to manage issue campaigns and lobbying for private clients at the Rhode Island State House. His research interests include congressional elections, partisanship and representation.
