Joining Boise State University in 2015, Dr. Cynthia Curl is an Associate Professor for the School of Public and Population Health and Co-Director of the Center for Excellence in Environmental Health and Safety. She received a Ph.D. in Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences specializing in exposure assessment and agricultural chemicals and a M.S. also in Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences focusing on biomonitoring and agricultural health and safety both from the University of Washington, and a B.A. in Chemistry from Swarthmore College. Dr. Curl is a member of the International Society of Exposure Science and the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology. Her most recent research focuses on atherosclerosis in connection with the effects of air pollution on the human body and organic produce consumption.
