Dr. Daicong Da joined Boise State University in 2023, and is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering. Before coming to Boise State, he worked as a postdoctoral scholar for Northwestern University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Université Paris-Est, France. Dr. Da is currently focused on projects that deal with mechanics of materials, design optimization, and data-driven paradigm, with applications to advanced and multifunctional materials and structures.
