Biography
David Brandt is the Director of Advising in the College of Arts & Sciences at Boise State University, where he has been a part of the professional community since 2012. A two-time Boise State alumnus, he holds a Master of Arts in Technical Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Public Relations emphasis). In his role, David leads advising services with a focus on student success, operational excellence, and meaningful engagement. He connects deeply with his teams to identify and close support gaps, streamline advising processes, and design initiatives that elevate both student experience and institutional effectiveness. Outside of advising, he’s a connector, a problem-solver, and someone who genuinely cares about student growth.
