About
Dr. Dawn Shepherd came to Boise State University as a faculty member in the Department of English in 2011, and is currently a professor with the Department of Writing Studies. She earned her Ph.D. in Communication, Rhetoric, and Digital Media and M.A. in English with a concentration in Rhetoric and Composition from North Carolina State University and a B.A. in English Education with a Dramatic Arts minor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Shepherd's primary research interests are in rhetoric, new media, and culture and the informationalization of identity. She also conducts research in writing studies and writing program administration.
