Dr. Brian McNatt came to Boise State University as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management in 2010. Previously, he was a faculty member of the business schools at Old Dominion University and the University of Georgia where he taught Organizational Behavior and Leadership Development Skills. As a former professional CPA, he holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior/Human Resources from the University of Iowa, and Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accounting from Brigham Young University. Dr. McNatt has authored many academic publications and presentations along with top-selling corporate training manuals. His primary research interests are in the areas of motivation, leadership, perception, and self-fulfilling prophecies applied to job performance, job attitudes, performance appraisals, and decision making.
