About

Ellie Dworak is a professor and research data librarian. She grew up in Eugene Oregon, where she earned a BA in English Literature from the University of Oregon between dancing to Marimba beats and lolling on the banks of the Willamette River. Graduate school took her to the University of Michigan for a master's degree in Library and Information Studies. After stints in Southeast Ohio and San Diego, she found her way back to the Northwest and Boise State, where she has been living and working since 2008. Ellie spends much of her time assisting researchers with data management planning. Ellie's research interests include data and statistical literacy; evidence-based practices in librarianship; theory and methods in library and information science research; and the applications of data visualization in the social sciences and humanities.
