    Invited Toastmaster Speaker, “Public Speaking Tips: Finding Comfort in the Uncomfortable,” expected December 2023. Teaching toastmaster attendees how to prepare for their presentations and best practices in getting more comfortable in front of various audiences.

    First Year Leadership Collaboratory, Boise State University, Boise, ID, expected to begin January 2024. I will be participating in a small working group focused on developing ways to provide better support for our first-year students. We plan to meet monthly.

    Metacognition + Learning Strategy Faculty Team, Boise State University, Boise, ID, 2022. Volunteered to implement lessons encouraging metacognitive approaches in students for the Advising and Academic Support Center. I also participated in a mid-semester grade check debrief with the AASC team and administered a beginning and end of semester survey to students.

    Graduate Research Assistant, Boise State University, Summer 2019. Assisted Kelly Rossetto, Ph.D., in interview transcriptions and coding. Additionally, began my work in researching the experiences of minority students on campus and how they view their experiences impact their resiliency.
