Gordon Reinhart began teaching in the Department of Theatre Arts at Boise State University in 1998. His earlier education includes a B.S. from DePauw University where he studied violin and business, an M.F.A. from West Virginia University in Acting, and post-graduate work in Theatre at Wayne State University. He has worked as a professional actor and director throughout the country at theatres including the Attic Theatre in Detroit, the Court Theatre in Chicago, Theatre 40 in Los Angeles, and the Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre in Missouri. Mr. Reinhart has appeared in the films 'Man Trouble' with Jack Nicholson, 'Tattoo: A Love Story', and the re-make of 'Born Yesterday', and on television with George Clooney in 'ER' and with Gregory Harrison in 'Family Man'. His recent work includes directing 'Amadeus' and 'Twelfth Night' at the Idaho Shakespeare Festival, acting at the Idaho Shakespeare Festival as the Host in 'Merry Wives of Windsor' and Decius Brutus in 'Julius Caesar', and playing Lopakhin in 'The Cherry Orchard' and Renfield in 'Dracula' at the Boise Contemporary Theater. He is a member of the Actors' Equity Association (AEA), the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA), and the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SCC).
