    Heidi Naylor has been teaching in the Department of Writing Studies at Boise State University since 2007. She earned both a B.A. in English, and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing, with a fiction emphasis, from Boise State. In addition to teaching, Naylor is an award-winning writer, and an editor. Her research assesses the curriculum and outcomes for English instruction, including those in creative writing, and for second-language learners, and Honors composition students. In 2014 she received a residency in creative writing at the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts in Nebraska City, Nebraska.
