About

Dr. Hoda S. Mehrpouyan started at Boise State University in 2016 and is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer Science.  Focusing on ensuring privacy, security, and robustness of mission-critical cyber-physical systems, she earned her Ph.D. from Oregon State University and her M.Sc. from Linköpings University. Prior to coming to Boise State Dr. Mehrpouyan was an Assistant Professor at Columbus State University where she taught a variety of courses including object-oriented design and systems simulation. Her primary areas of research interest are in requirement analysis and verification, compositional modeling and reasoning, safety and failure resilience modeling applied to complex engineering systems such as aircraft, spacecraft, automobiles, smart grid, and renewable energy systems.
