    About

    Prof. Jason Blomquist joined Boise State University faculty in 2021 as Clinical Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing, and as an Assistant Professor in 2024. He received his M.S. in organizational leadership from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in 2018, and is anticipating to receive his Ph.D. in executive leadership from Boise State University in 2025. Prof. Blomquist brings experience in leading innovative nursing teams working to transform care delivery using Virtual Care and telehealth. Beginning his clinical career on inpatient telemetry and cardiac care units, he developed a passion for professional practice improvement, patient advocacy, and nurse development. Building on this experience, Blomquist has led the implementation of system-wide initiatives and nursing teams utilizing technology and remote patient management applications. As a leader and educator, Blomquist is dedicated to empowering individuals to engage in their development and professional practice.
