    About

    In 2005, Dr. Jason Herbeck joined the faculty at Boise State University where he is the French Section Head in the Department of World Languages. His Ph.D. in French Literature is from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where his dissertation was entitled "Awakening Routinists: Consciousness, Quest and Albert Camus". He has published numerous papers, book chapters, translations, and book reviews in the most prestigious journals in his field, in addition to making many conference presentations locally, nationally, and internationally. Dr. Herbeck’s work has been honored with Boise State's College of Arts and Sciences Award for Research and Creative Activity in 2012, and has led to his invitation to become the coordinator of the North American chapter of the Société des Études Camusiennes.
