About

Dr. Jenée D. Cyran joined Boise State University in 2023 and is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry.  She earned a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from Colorado State University and a B.S. in chemistry from Allegheny College. Dr. Cyran’s research interest include physical chemistry, surface chemistry, photochemical reactions, and environmental chemistry.  She directs The Cyran Lab which investigates the structure, dynamics and photochemical processes in the atmosphere and environment. The lab utilizes novel spectroscopic techniques to elucidate the role of the surface in these reactions.
