About

Jill Heney has taught inquiry-based writing courses at Boise State University since 1997, and, as co-director of the Collaborative for Teaching Writing Online (CTWO), she leads faculty development in digital writing pedagogies. Jill has a B.A.Ed. in English/Language Arts from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, and then went on to earn an M.A. in English, with emphases in literature and creative writing, from Boise State. Jill’s articles and poetry have been featured in several publications, and she is the co-author of the textbook The Writing Tree: Interactive Lessons for Cultivating a College Essay.
