    Starting at Boise State University in 2022, Dr. Jinho Joo is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Media.  He earned his Doctorate in Communication from Washington State University, a Master of Art in Communication from the University of Wyoming, and a B.B.A. in Advertising and Public Relations from Hongik University.  Dr. Joo’s research focuses on how consumers process advocacy messages on prosocial issues in strategic communication. He also conducts research on corporate social responsibility, advertising, and public relations. He is also currently a reviewer for the American Academy of Advertising (AAA), and has been published in such publications as the International Journal of Advertising and the Journal of American College Health.
