    About

    Dr. Juli Pool teaches early childhood/early childhood special education at Boise State University. She received her doctorate in Early Intervention from the University of Oregon. She holds a MS in Early Intervention from the University of Oregon, and a BS in Elementary and Special Education from the University of Texas at Austin.
    Her research has focused on assessment, early intervention services, inclusion, early literacy, and personnel preparation. She has published in several professional journals including Topics in Early Childhood Special Education and Early Childhood Education Journal. Dr. Pool has been active in various professional organizations such as the Division of Early Childhood (DEC), Council for Exceptional Children (CEC), and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). She has presented at regional and national conferences.
    Dr. Pool has taught different early childhood and special education courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. She has also worked as an educator in a variety of settings, including K-6 special education, inclusive elementary classrooms, early childhood special education and infant/toddler programs.
