Joining Boise State University in 2022, Dr. Katia Guerra is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Technology and Supply Chain Management.  She holds a Ph.D. in Business Computer Information Systems, a Master of Law from the University of Oxford, and a Bachelor’s in Law from the University of Pisa.  Dr. Guerra worked for several years as an Italian qualified lawyer in Milan where she assisted the management of Italian and international companies on privacy law and on the negotiation and drafting of commercial contracts. This background is incorporated into her research by investigating the challenges that organizations face in the successful adoption of technology by consumers.
