    Prof. Katrina Kopeloff joined Boise State University in 2024 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Art, Design & Visual Studies. She received her M.F.A. in illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2009, where she was awarded the Artistic Honors Fellowship. She received her B.F.A. in printmaking from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 2007, where she also received her Technology, Arts, and Media Certification. Prof. Kopeloff has over a decade of experience as a professional illustrator, and during that time has also accrued a wealth of experience teaching in the arts in different capacities. She has created illustrations for two international picture books: La Visita de los Troles (The Visit of the Trolls) with OQO Publishers in Spain, and El Gato e o Macaco (The Cat and the Monkey) with Trinta por uma Linha Publishers in Portugal.
