Dr. Lynn Nichols specializes in maternal-child health, and has extensive experience with curriculum development and revision, program evaluation, strategic planning and online instruction. She is committed to the utilization of high-impact practices to foster student engagement. She is interested in leadership development and team building in faculty work groups and facilitating the professional development of faculty and nursing students. Her topics of interest include: inter-professional collaborative care, BSN roles in primary care, legal and ethical issues in healthcare, and innovative, engaging teaching strategies for RN-Baccalaureate education. She is a nationally-recognized expert in nursing education, and is the founder of a professional nursing organization, the National RN-Baccalaureate Faculty Forum, a group that serves the unique networking and professional development needs of RN-BSN faculty across the nation.
