    His appointment to the faculty of the Department of Criminal Justice in 2013 marked a return to Boise State University for Marc Ruffinengo. He earned his B.S. at the University of Pittsburgh, an M.A. in Criminal Justice from Boise State, and is finishing in Criminology and Criminal Justice at Arizona State University where his dissertation topic is a statewide examination of police misconduct in all Arizona police departments. Mr. Ruffinengo works in policing personnel decisions. He also serves as a manuscript reviewer for Police Quarterly.
