    Dr. Martin Schimpf is currently a professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. He earned his Ph.D. in physical and analytical chemistry from the University of Utah. Since coming to Boise State University in 1990, his research interests have included materials characterization, environmental analysis, thermophoresis, and field-flow fractionation. He has been Principal Investigator on a variety of projects, including grants funded by the National Science Foundation, National Institutes of Health, Department of Energy and the Environmental Protection Agency. Dr. Schimpf has published his work in a variety of journals within the fields of chemistry and physics, and has presented at conferences and symposia around the world.
