Dr. Nicholas Hudyma started at Boise State University in 2019 and is currently a professor with the Department of Civil Engineering. He received a Ph.D. in Engineering and an M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering both with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering and from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Dr. Hudyma’s most recent research involves using virtual environments for disaster and hazard assessment and the use of chemically-induced soil stabilization. He is currently a member of several professional associations including the American Society of Civil Engineers, as well as its Geo-Institute, the American Rock Mechanics Association, and the Association of Environmental and Engineering Geologists to name a few.
