Dr. Nisha Mukherjee Bellinger came to Boise State University in 2017 and is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Political Science. She earned a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Missouri focusing on comparative politics and international relations, an M.A. in International Relations from Jadavpur University, and a B.A. in political science from St. Xavier’s College, University of Mumbai. Dr. Bellinger’s research interest currently focuses on the causes and consequences of human health and welfare as well as other political economic outcomes such as foreign direct investments and inequality. She is a member of the American Political Science Association, and is a referee for various journals including American Political Science Review, British Journal of Political Science, and Foreign Policy Analysis to name a few.
