About
Dr. Olga Mass joined the Micron School of Materials Science & Engineering at Boise State University in September 2019 as a Research Scholar working in the Quantum DNA research group with Profs. Bill Knowlton and Bernard Yurke. Olga has extensive expertise in design, multistep synthesis and characterization of small organic molecules, macromolecules and dyes.
Educational Background
Dr. Mass received her BS in Chemical Engineering and her MS in Chemistry from Lomonosov Moscow State Academy of Fine Chemical Technology. Following her PhD in Organic Chemistry from North Carolina State University in 2012, Dr. Mass was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the research group of Prof. Lisa Warner in the Biomolecular Research Center, Boise State (2017-2019). She also held an appointment as an organic chemistry lecturer at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Boise State from 2013 to 2017.
