    Roger Munger is a professor of English in the Department of Writing Studies. He also serves as the institution’s NCAA Faculty Athletics Representative. Roger teaches both graduate and undergraduate technical communication courses. His teaching and research interests include universal design, content creation, data stories, gamification, and intercollegiate athletics.

    His scholarship has appeared in journals such as Technical Communication, IEEE Transactions on Professional Communication, Technical Communication Quarterly, Proposal Management, Technical Rescue, Journal of Emergency Medical Services, and Metropolitan Universities Journal. Roger is author of Designing Documents and Understanding Visuals (2008) and Document-Based Cases in Technical Communication (2005, 2012). He won both the Frank R. Smith Outstanding Journal Article Award in Technical Communication (for “Green Printing”) and the Insight Award for Best Journal Article (for “Workplace-Classroom Collaborations”).
