About

Dr. Sherena Huntsman started at Boise State University in 2019 and is currently an assistant professor with the Department of Writing Studies. She received a Ph.D. in Technical Communication and Rehtoric and a M.A in English, British and American Literature both from the University of Utah. Dr. Huntsman’s current scholarship looks at how technical and professional practices can create access to digital materials for individual users across the ability spectrum. Thus, investigating the relationship between technical communication practices and the marginalization of the user. This focus contributes to work of social justice, accessibility, pedagogy, disability rhetoric, digital humanities, and UX design strategies.
