About
Dr. Siduri J. Haslerig joined Boise State University in 2023 and is currently an associate dean and associate professor with the College of Education. She earned her Ph.D. and her M.A. in Higher Education and Organizational Change at the University of California, Los Angeles. She earned her B.A. from Swarthmore College, with a double major in Sociology of Education and English Literature. Dr. Haslerig’s research nests the study of intercollegiate athletics and college athletes within higher education. Of particular interest are equity, access, and inclusion; student athletes’ academic achievement; developmental and support services in intercollegiate athletics; and qualitative research methods. Dr. Haslerig’s research has been published in journals such as the American Educational Research Journal, the Sociology of Sport Journal, the Journal of Career Development, and the International Review for the Sociology of Sport.
