About
Joining Boise State University in 2020, Dr. Steven J. Hyde is currently an assistant professor with the Department of Management. He earned a Ph.D. in strategic management from the University of Texas at San Antonio, an M.A. in Organizational Science from The George Washington University, and a B.S. in Psychology from Southern Utah University. Dr. Hyde’s research takes a closer look at the combination of strategy and psychology by exploring how the psychological attributes of a select few, namely executives and key stakeholders, influence organizational level outcomes. Using computer aided text analysis and machine learning, his work focuses on how the internal motivations of the chief executive officer influence organizational outcomes. He is currently a member of the Academy of International Business and the Academy of Management.
