Dr. Sydney Weber Boutros joined Boise State University in 2022 and is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychological Science.  She holds a Ph.D. from the Department of Behavioral Neuroscience at Oregon Health & Science University, and a B.A. in Psychology and Spanish with a minor in Neuroscience from the University of Portland. Dr. Boutros’ research experience includes being a research assistant at the Oregon Health & Science University and at the University of Portland’s Oregon National Primate Research Center.  Her recent published research includes a study on mitigating cognitive impairment caused by space radiation, as well as neural mechanisms of learning and memory. She is currently a member of the Pavlovian Society and the Society for Neuroscience.
