    Tracy Bicknell-Holmes came to Boise State University in the summer of 2013 as the Dean of Albertsons Library. She holds a B.A. in Communication from Michigan State University, an M.S. in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an M.B.A. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Bicknell-Holmes came to Boise State from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she has been a librarian/business specialist, interim associate director for the University of Nebraska Press, chair of Research and Instructional Services, and head of the Engineering Library & Patent & Trademark Resource Center. She is interested in all aspects of library management, including strategic planning; the mentoring of faculty in research, publication, and through the promotion and tenure process; and initiatives to identify potential partnerships between the library and other campus units in relation to instruction. In 2007, she participated in the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) Leadership Institute for Academic Librarians at the Harvard Graduate School of Education at Harvard University.
