Dr. Trevor J. Lujan joined the faculty of the Department of Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering at Boise State University in 2012 (Ph.D. from University of Utah, B.S. from University of Wisconsin - Madison). His research is focused on musculoskeletal biomechanics and mechanobiology, with an overarching goal to investigate the effect of mechanical forces on connective tissue injury, remodeling, and repair, and to then translate this research into innovative medical solutions that are effective, practical, and affordable. Dr. Lujan's work has been supported by grants from the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation, and the state of Idaho.
