Dr. William R. King started at Boise State University in 2019 and is currently an associate professor with the Department of Criminal Justice. He received his Ph.D. and M.S. in Criminal Justice both from the University of Cincinnati. Between 2005 and 2008 Dr. King was involved in a violent crime reduction effort in the island nation of Trinidad and Tobago. His research interests include studying criminal justice organizations, such as police agencies, crime labs, and the forensics processing industry. He is also interested in homicide investigations, and long term change and continuity in police agencies. Dr. King’s works have appeared in such publications as Criminology and Public PolicyJournal of Forensic IdentificationJournal of Research in Crime and Delinquency, and Forensic Science Policy and Management.
