Improving Outcomes for Preterm Infants Through Randomised Clinical Trials

Babies who are born early (premature) can face many health challenges. My research focuses on ways to improve how we care for premature babies in the first days and weeks of life, especially by supporting their breathing. I also want to explore new ways of doing research studies in premature babies so that we can get better at answering the most important questions. By improving the way we care for premature babies early in their lives, we can improve their health into childhood and even beyond.
