Abstract

What does the IEEE mean to you? Why did you join? Some of you treat your IEEE membership as a local club. The IEEE is a global society. There are more than 100,000 Student Members (including Graduate Student Members) in 3,000 Student Branches at universities in more than 100 countries. The IEEE also has 200,000 professional Members (everyone who is not a Student or Graduate Student Member) in more than 300 Sections in 120 countries. The global reach of the IEEE can be of great benefit to you.
