Administrator Perceptions of Business School Advisory Boards

Abstract

Business school advisory boards typically discuss curriculum issues, ideas for new business programs, publicity, and organizational mission development according to a survey of 114 business school administrators from the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs. Boards usually meet twice a year and have six to fifteen members. Differences between college and departmental boards and boards from 2-year, 4-year, and graduate schools are discussed.
