Abstract
An overview is given of a case study describing the implementation and the effects of an ERP system in a manufacturing facility of a very large multidivisional company. Analysis of the case consists of two parts. First, the case is analyzed in light of several critical implementation success factors identified in the literature. Second, a discussion of misfits between ERP-driven business process standards and business conditions faced by the plant is presented. Three lessons are abstracted from the case and discussion.
