Abstract
Details excavation at Deep Creek Rockshelter in 1977, part of the Southcentral Owyhee Archaeological Project, which was undertaken to examine the nature of aboriginal Indian settlement-subsistence patterns. The presence of projectile points from the Middle Archaic period suggests that this site was probably a hunter's camp.
