Abstract

It was an honor and a privilege to read and review Burdens Do a Body Good: Meeting Life’s Challenges with Strength (and Soul) by Michele Howe and Christopher Foetisch (2010). This inspirational book is an excellent resource that creates space for reflection on one’s physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being in the face of life’s challenges across the lifespan. I was inspired to read it several times and to purchase and pass on copies to others who are affected by life’s tests through new or ongoing health changes, family issues, loss, and mind-body-spirit suffering.
