The authors regret that it has been brought to our attention that the above paper by P. Augat, E.F. Morgan, T. J. Lujan, T. J. MacGillivray and W. H. Cheung, published in Injury, Volume 45, Supplement 2, June 2014, Pages S16–S22, should have included an Acknowledgement to the Osteosynthesis and Trauma Care Foundation who provided some of the funding for the paper.
