Abstract
Some universities provide cooperative education as an important segment of a student's personnel and human resource management (HRM) major. The aims of HRM cooperative education is to give students work experience, increase their job contacts and references, and assist them in the assimilation of applying classroom learning in the real world. HRM co-ops often involve job analysis, job evaluation, survey research, recruiting, training, records management, or job description development. These co-op employment experiences usually occur in businesses, and federal, state, and local governments.
