Abstract

The purpose of this dataset is to provide readers with article coding for variables associated with the publication, A Meta-Analysis and Quality Review of Mathematics Interventions Conducted in Informal Learning Environments with Caregivers and Children. This is a meta-analysis and quality reporting review of 23 math interventions implemented in informal learning environments (e.g., the home) by children’s caregivers. The meta-analysis of 81 effect sizes yielded a statistically significant summary effect (g = 0.28, 95% CI [0.08, 0.48]) on children’s math achievement. Variables provided in this data set include: basic study information and participant demographics, methodological information, intervention features, outcome measures, effect sizes.
