Abstract

The control of multipass processes as illustrated by the agricultural plowing of land by an auto-steered tractor is considered. Multipass processes are considered as two-dimensional systems; i. e. , they are represented by transfer functions that have two independent variables (indeterminates). The transfer function is derived, and stability conditions are obtained.
