Abstract
The season concludes with NATURAL WONDERS. This concert feature Beethoven’s idyllic “Symphony No. 6”, also known as the “Pastoral Symphony”. Dvorak’s masterwork “Te Deum” is a large-scale production featuring the Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Chorus, QU and JWCC choruses, the Quincy Area Youth Chorus and soprano soloist Penelope Shumate and baritone soloist Jeffrey Seppala. The evening opens with a brand new composition by Illinois composer Steven Taylor.
