Abstract
In this section we introduce the concept of reconfigurable nanostructures made of DNA. Firstly, along with the properties of DNA molecules, how to self-assemble static nanostructures by using hybridization between complementary DNA strands is explained. Secondly, a definition of reconfigurable nanostructures, design requirements, and the strategies to realize reconfiguration are provided. Lastly, as an example of reconfigurable nanostructure, our design of movable DNA motif that assembles into a cluster with different valences is explained in detail.
